Research shows that eating plant-based wholefoods contributes to good health. And the more we eat plants and wholefoods instead of highly processed foods, the more likely we are to steer toward a long, healthy life.

Experts have theorized that getting a variety of foods from different food categories every day helps us get the micronutrients we need for health to align with USDA guidelines.

Spirulina

Spirulina is a super-food, rich in easily absorbed nutrients. Spirulina contains two-and-a-half times more vitamin B12 than liver, is the best botanical source of complete protein available, and contains several antioxidant-rich carotenoids. Spirulina provides support for the nervous system and healthy brain function. Its rich supply of antioxidants helps protect the brain from free radical damage. Spirulina also contains the amino acid tryptophan, which helps balance the nervous system and plays a key role in the body's production of serotonin and the regulation of stress, mood and appetite.

Chlorella
