Calcium carbonate

Calcium carbonate is alkaline in nature and helps buffer stomach acid. In 1928, American pharmacist Jim Howe concocted edible calcium drops to help his wife with her digestive discomfort. Calcium helps neutralize acid, since too much acid in the stomach typically leads to discomfort.

Prebiotic Fiber

Isomalto-oligosaccharides is a type of prebiotic fiber. Prebiotic fiber serves as food for healthy bacteria in the gut, supporting bowel health and promoting healthy digestive function.

Algin

Algin is an important carbohydrate material extracted from brown seaweed. Algin contains non-digestible mucilage (a type of fiber) that absorbs water, creating a gel that soothes the intestines and binds to toxins and heavy metal ions.
