Every day is shorts day when your legs look and feel their healthiest...and they can...with Vari-Gone®!
Varicose veins, which afflict nearly 15% of all adults, are the most common of all venous disorders.
Unfortunately, the frequency of varicose veins increases as people age — greater than 50% of those over 50 are likely to develop some degree of varicosity, with women more often affected than men.
This formula perfectly illustrates “the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.”
Vari-Gone® features Horse chestnut, Rutin and Vitamin C to support and strengthen blood vessels and encourage blood flow throughout the body.
Vitamin C
Vitamin C strengthens blood vessel walls and also helps support normal-range blood pressure levels. Vitamin C helps maintain the integrity of blood vessel walls which are made with collagen, the substance that holds the body's cells together. Vitamin C is a fundamental factor in making collagen—without it, the body cannot make collagen. Plus, vitamin C works with bioflavonoids to help protect your body from damaging free radicals. Being water-soluble, vitamin C is easily washed from the body and needs to be replaced constantly through diet or supplementation.
Horse Chestnut
Horse chestnuts, also known as buckeyes, have been studied for their potential support of healthy blood flow in the legs. One study even said that the extract of horst chestnuts might be as good as wearing compression stockings for support...but much more subtle and comfortable. Horse chestnut seed extract is a popular dietary supplement commonly used to improve vein health and reduce swelling and soreness. The main active component in horse chestnut seed extract is aescin which may improve venous tone by improving blood flow in the veins. Aescin may also help reduce soreness related to injury, poor circulation in the legs, and swelling. Horse chestnut seed extract also provides powerful antioxidant protection.
Fenugreek
Fenugreek seeds contain mucilage, a gel-like compound that provides a soothing effect on tissues. Fenugreek also supports normal-range blood sugar and cholesterol levels and may help in the management of metabolic health. Plus, recent research suggests that fenugreek seeds contain compounds that may stimulate the production of nitric oxide in the body. Nitric oxide helps relax and widen blood vessels, resulting in improved blood flow. Fenugreek is also a good source of potassium, which counteracts the effects of excess sodium. By promoting a healthy potassium-to-sodium ratio, fenugreek helps support normal-range blood pressure levels.
Rutin
Rutin, also called vitamin "P", is a bioflavonoid nutrient that affects the permeability (hence the "P") of capillaries. Rutin helps strengthen capillaries and blood vessels while it supports overall circulatory health. Rutin also supports vitamin C’s activity and helps the body with collagen production. Plus, rutin provides powerful antioxidant activity and supports a healthy inflammatory response. Rutin is found naturally in buckwheat, asparagus, black tea and several fruits such as apricots, cherries and prunes.
Hesperidin
Hesperidin is a bioflavonoid compound from citrus fruit that protects the body, supports healthy blood pressure, and protects blood vessels against damage. Hesperidin helps strengthen capillary walls to reduce fragility and permeability. Hesperidin also enhances cellular antioxidant defenses and supports vitamin C's activity in the body. Hesperidin is found primarily in the rinds of oranges and lemons.
Lemon Bioflavonoid
Lemon bioflavonoids assist the absorption and utilization of vitamin C. Lemon bioflavonoids are excellent antioxidants that neutralize free radicals and help protect the vitamin C molecule from oxidation within the body. Lemon bioflavonoids offer multiple health benefits, including boosting immune function, supporting cardiovascular health and eyesight, increasing capillary strength, and supporting connective tissue health. Lemon bioflavonoids come from the pulp and stringy white inside of the lemon fruit.
Vitamin C (ascorbic acid), Horse chestnut seed extract (standardized to 20% aescin), Fenugreek seed, Rutin, Hesperidin bioflavonoid extract, and Lemon bioflavonoid extract.
Vari-Gone's featured botanicals—horse chestnut seed, rutin, fenugreek seed, lemon bioflavonoids and hesperidin—are all non-GMO, vegan and gluten-free for a cleaner nutritional experience.
