How It Works
As far back as 5,000 years ago, frankincense has been treasured by civilizations and has served many purposes. The Egyptians used frankincense for perfume, insect repellent, and a salve for wounds.
Prepared from aromatic, hardened gum resins of the boswellia tree, Frankincense has a complex aroma of spice, citrus and wood tones.
The rich aroma of frankincense oil is famous for its meditative and elevating properties.
It is often used to create a peaceful, relaxed mood and to encourage slower, deeper breathing and feelings of groundedness.
Frankincense oil is also used to help relieve stress and feelings of anxiousness.
Applied topically, frankincense oil has been known to help reduce scars, blemishes, and wrinkles:
Mix about 6 drops of frankincense oil with one ounce of Carrier Oil and apply to saggy skin and wrinkles.
Mix 2 to 3 drops of frankincense oil with Hand & Body Lotion or Carrier Oil and apply to scars, stretch marks, or acne blemishes.

Recommended Use
