Improve your sense of well-being with Mood Elevator TCM Concentrate!
This formula contains the same herbs found in Chinese Mood Elevator, but in a highly concentrated blend.
Mood Elevator TCM Concentrate combines 17 Chinese herbs that support the liver and promote an overall sense of well-being.
This traditional Chinese herbal blend also supports vitality, mood, and occasional sleeplessness.
Mood Elevator TCM Concentrate features Chinese herbs that are honored for their ability to “untrap your chi” (vital energy/vitality), preserve positivity, and strengthen liver function.
According to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), when the liver is functioning at its peak, positive mood may be maintained. Because the liver helps provide filtered blood to all cells of the body, liver health and function can greatly influence mood.
The Chinese name for this formula, jie yu, can be translated to mean “regulate chi".
TCM philosophy names five distinct energies that permeate the body: Fire, Earth, Metal, Water and Wood. In order to feel your best, these energies must be in balance.
Traditional Chinese Medicine considers this a “fire-enhancing” formula to regulate and untrap the chi and relieve feelings of anxiousness and tension.
Energy is the vital force that activates every function and drives every process in the human body, both voluntarily and involuntary.
Your chi is the driving force of optimal health & vitality!
Nurturing your chi, through supplementation and good lifestyle practices, encourages your elements to be in balance, while helping you feel energetic, content, and refreshed.
Nourish your chi with Mood Elevator TCM Concentrate (+).
According to Eastern philosophy, life permits us to work with what we have on earth here and now—body and mind—in order to reclaim and maintain the innate energy and spirit that reside within us. Energy and spirit must be awakened, nurtured and balanced in order for life to flourish.
Under TCM philosophy, Mood Elevator TCM Concentrate is designed to help cleanse and support the liver, neutralizing undesirable blood compounds and promoting improved mood, vitality, and well-being.
Bitter Orange
Young bitter orange fruit, also known as zhishi, is used in TCM for its digestive and circulatory benefits to break up stagnant chi and unblock the bowels. It is also reported to help with feelings of anxiousness. Bitter orange fruit naturally contains synephrine, which helps the body to use energy properly and may increase lipolysis (the breakdown of fat) to support a healthy liver. Bitter orange also stimulates the release of bile, which aids fat digestion and promotes bowel regularity.
Bupleurum
Bupleurum is regarded as one of the best Chinese herbs for the liver. Bupleurum is a bitter herb that is believed to aid the upward flow of "chi", the body’s living force, thereby strengthening the body against stress. Bupleurum is said to strengthen and protect the liver, providing a “yang” energy that raises the chi in the digestive organs. Bupleurum has been used to help clear a congested or stagnant liver and support gallbladder function. Bupleurum has also been used to maintain normal nervous system function during mental stress. Bupleurum contains active compounds (saikosaponin A, quercetin, and rutin) that play a role in regulating brain neurotransmitters that affect mood.
Hoelen
Hoelen sclerotium has been used for centuries in TCM to “drain dampness” and increase urinary flow. Hoelen is used to correct urinary imbalances and help relieve congestion and feelings of heaviness in the body. Hoelen is valued as a tonic for the bladder and kidneys, as it helps to balance electrolytes. Hoelen also promotes immune system function. Plus, hoelen has been used in TCM formulas to help ease feelings of anxiousness and improve mood.
Tangerine Rind
In TCM, the rind or peel of tangerine fruit is a warming herb used to balance energy flow through the body. Tangerine rind is also employed as a bitter tonic that stimulates the liver to increase bile production and help relieve intestinal gas and bloating. Plus, tangerine rind may have a positive influence on mood regulation. Tangerine rind contains flavonoids that have antioxidant effects and help promote a healthy inflammatory response.
Asian Ginseng
Asian ginseng root, also known as Panax ginseng, has been used in Asia for centuries to benefit both mental and physical health. Ginseng root has been traditionally consumed to boost energy, improve memory and concentration, promote endurance and exercise performance, enhance immune system activity, and elevate mood. As an adaptogen, ginseng helps optimize bodily functions, supports the body’s efforts to achieve balance and adapt to stress, and is commonly used to promote energy and vitality. Active constituents in the plant, called ginsenosides, support the glandular system and boost the immune system.
Dong Quai
Dong quai root is used in TCM to invigorate blood circulation and enrich the blood. TCM practitioners also use dong quai to restore the body's vital energy known as "qi" or "chi", and to return the body to a state of natural balance. Dong quai also helps to calm the nerves, soothe the intestines, and relax muscle cramping and spasms.
Ginger
Ginger has been used as both food and medicine in Asia for thousands of years. Traditionally, ginger has helped with a laundry list of complaints, including joint discomfort, digestive complaints, circulatory health, and nervous system support. As ginger plays a role in energy regulation, it is said to also have a metabolic-boosting effect. Ginger is also believed to positively influence levels of serotonin and dopamine, neurotransmitters associated with happiness and well-being.
Licorice
Licorice has been a key part of many Chinese herbal formulas for thousands of years. Most Chinese herb combinations use licorice to balance the other herbs and to promote vitality and well-being. It has a reputation for helping the entire body maintain balance and for promoting well-being. Licorice root is also regarded as an adrenal/pituitary tonic. Licorice root contains compounds like glycyrrhizin and glabridin that promote a healthy inflammatory response.
