Strengthen a weakened immune system with Trigger Immune® TCM Concentrate, a Chinese herbal formula that also fortifies the circulatory system.
Trigger Immune® TCM Concentrate is a highly concentrated herbal blend that nourishes your "chi" to power your body’s vital processes and support natural immunity.
This formula contains the same herbs found in Chinese Trigger Immune®, but in a highly concentrated blend.
The Chinese call this formula sheng mai, which can be translated to mean “generate chi”.
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) philosophy names five distinct energies that permeate the body: Fire, Earth, Metal, Water and Wood.
In order to feel your best, these energies must be in balance.
Energy is the vital force that activates every function and drives every process in the human body, both voluntary and involuntary.
Nurturing your chi, through supplementation and good lifestyle practices, encourages your elements to be in balance while helping you feel energetic, content and refreshed.
Your chi is the driving force of optimal health and wellness.
To nourish your chi, try Trigger Immune® TCM Concentrate (-).
According to Eastern philosophy, life permits us to work with what we have on earth here and now—body and mind—in order to reclaim and maintain the innate energy and spirit that reside within us. Energy and spirit must be awakened, nurtured and balanced in order for life to flourish.
Under TCM philosophy, Trigger Immune® TCM Concentrate is designed to strengthen a weakened energy constitution.
Astragalus
According to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), astragalus root improves the flow of internal energy, or "chi" and is used to reduce fatigue and tiredness, which are caused by chi deficiency. Modern Chinese practitioners value astragalus for supporting the immune system and healthy blood circulation. Astragalus is a powerful adaptogenic herb that builds the immune system and may help activate T-cells, a type of white blood cell that plays an important role in human immune defenses. Active compounds known as astragalisodes boost immune function by enhancing the production of immunoglobulin and stimulating the activity of immune cells known as macrophages.
Asian Ginseng
Asian ginseng root has been used for centuries to benefit both mental and physical health. Ginseng root has been traditionally consumed to boost energy, improve memory and concentration, promote endurance and exercise performance, enhance immune system activity, and elevate mood. As an adaptogen, ginseng helps optimize bodily functions, supports the body’s efforts to achieve balance, and is commonly used to promote energy and vitality. Active constituents in the plant, called ginsenosides, support the glandular system and boost immune defenses.
Dong Quai
Dong quai root has been used in TCM for thousands of years to invigorate blood circulation and enrich the blood. TCM practitioners also use dong quai to restore the body's vital energy known as "qi" or "chi", and to return the body to a state of natural balance. Dong quai also helps to calm the nerves, soothe the intestines, and relax cramping muscles and spasms.
Ganoderma Mushroom
Ganoderma mushroom, also known as reishi, is a potent adaptogen that supports the body when under stress, boosts immune defenses, and promotes overall health and vitality. Ganoderma mushroom is known to be rich in long-chain polysaccharides, which stimulate the activity of key immune cells, including macrophages, T-cells and natural killer cells. This tricks the body into thinking it is being invaded. And, by promoting balance between the body's immune and stress responses, ganoderma mushroom activates immune cells without overstimulating the immune system. Ganoderma mushroom also supports lung health and enhances vital energy.
Lycium
Lycium fruit has been used as both a traditional medicinal herb and a food supplement for more than 2,000 years. It’s commonly used in soups and herbal teas, and has recently received attention for its powerful antioxidant properties. This renowned Chinese tonic herb is used in TCM to balance the 12 meridians (energy channels) and energize the five constitutional types.
Chinese Peony
Chinese peony has been used in TCM to maintain healthy nervous system function during mental stress. Chinese peony also has immunomodulatory effects and promotes healthy blood circulation. Plus, it helps relax muscle cramping and spasms, relieves aches and discomfort, and promotes a healthy inflammatory response by inhibiting the production of pro-inflammatory molecules in the body.
Hoelen
Hoelen has been used for centuries in TCM to “drain dampness” and increase urinary flow. Hoelen is used to correct urinary imbalances and help relieve congestion and feelings of heaviness in the body. Hoelen is valued as a tonic for the bladder and kidneys, as it helps to balance electrolytes. Hoelen also promotes immune system function and has been used in TCM formulas to help ease feelings of anxiousness and improve mood.
Ophiopogon
Ophiopogon is used in Chinese herbology to support yin and lung function. The plant is said to have tissue moisturizing properties, moistening the lungs and intestines. TCM considers ophiopogon helpful for dry coughs, dryness of the mouth, and throat discomfort.
Schisandra
Schisandra has been used for centuries for its important adaptogenic benefits. Widely used in TCM, schisandra berries are called the five-flavored fruit because they possesses a remarkable taste that is sour, sweet, bitter, salty and pungent. Schisandra is known to support the body’s efforts to clear waste from the respiratory system and enhance energy in the lungs. Schisandra is used in TCM for coughs and wheezing due to lung deficiency.
Licorice
Licorice root has been a key part of many Chinese herbal formulas for thousands of years. TCM has relied on licorice root to provide digestive and respiratory system support. Most Chinese herb combinations use licorice to balance the other herbs and to promote vitality. It has a reputation for helping the entire body maintain balance and for promoting well-being. Traditional herbalists use licorice root as a general tonic and as an expectorant to clear the respiratory tract and to help the body combat cough. Licorice root helps to loosen and thin mucus in the respiratory tract, making it easier to cough up and clear the airways.
