Goldenseal
Goldenseal provides proven immune system support.
Goldenseal was used traditionally by Native Americans to support the mucous membranes of the respiratory, digestive and urinary tracts.
Herbalists of the early 20th century considered goldenseal a critical herb for stomach and intestinal issues.
Goldenseal root contains powerful alkaloids—berberine, hydrastine and canadine—that help the body maintain strong immunity and provide respiratory system support.
Plus, berberine has been shown to support gut health, which directly affects the immune system. A healthy gut microbiome helps maintain a strong immune response.
Parthenium
Parthenium, a perennial native to eastern North America, can be found growing in prairies, rock outcrops and roadsides from Maryland to Minnesota and Georgia, and as far west as Wisconsin and Arkansas.
Parthenium has been used traditionally to support the immune system, in a manner similar to echinacea.
Native American tribes used parthenium leaves in topical applications and made a tea from the boiled roots to help with loose stools associated with intestinal illness.
European settlers used parthenium for fever, cough and throat issues.
Parthenium contains natural compounds called sesquiterpine esters, which appear to be responsible for parthenium's immune-supporting benefits.

Quality
Our goldenseal root is wild-crafted and harvested by hand all over Appalachia. Harvesters are taught how to propagate the roots, leaving part of the system in place for future gleaning (after two years or more). We also ensure that only mature plants are harvested, and that we source from different regions in order to not overharvest any particular area.
Our goldenseal is non-GMO and thoroughly tested for pesticides and other contaminants.
Recommended Use
Take 1/4 teaspoon (1 mL or 15-20) drops twice daily with water.
One mL is equal to 1 capsule of Goldenseal and 1 capsule of Parthenium.
