Named after its hook-like horns, cat’s claw (or uña de gato in Spanish) is a woody vine that grows wild in the Amazon rainforest and other tropical areas of Central and South America, including the lush rain forests of Peru.
Cat's claw is regarded as the most sacred herb among the native Ashaninka Indians of Peru and other Amazonian tribes. Cat's claw has been used by indigenous people in Central and South America for 2,000 years to support the body’s natural immune defenses.

Cat's Claw
Cat's claw has been traditionally used to support the body’s natural immune defenses. Current research indicates that cat's claw may play a valuable role in supporting the body’s immune system and promoting a healthy inflammatory response. Cat's claw also has antioxidant properties, helping the body neutralize free radicals that damage cells. Cat's claw has been used for a wide variety of health concerns, including digestive problems, joint discomfort, immune challenges, intestinal complaints, and as a general health tonic.
Astragalus
According to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), astragalus root improves the flow of internal energy, or "chi" and is used to reduce fatigue and tiredness, which are caused by chi deficiency. Modern Chinese practitioners value astragalus for supporting the immune system and healthy blood circulation. Astragalus is a powerful adaptogenic herb that builds the immune system and may help reduce symptoms associated with chronic stress. Active compounds known as astragalisodes boost immune function by enhancing the production of immunoglobulin and stimulating the activity of immune cells known as macrophages.
Echinacea
Centuries ago, Native Americans turned to the healing power of echinacea, using it traditionally for colds, coughs and sore throats.
