Most of us don't get nearly the fiber we need!
LOCLO features psyllium hulls, apple fiber, flax seed, and oat bran to help stimulate normal bowel function and remove toxins.
Many individuals consume below adequate daily intake levels of fiber.
LOCLO is the perfect way to add dietary fiber into your daily regimen.
Dietary fiber, found primarily in fruits, vegetables, whole grains and legumes, is well-known for its ability to promote overall intestinal health.
Dietary fiber helps to prevent or relieve constipation, remove toxins and excess fats from the body, and improve bowel regularity.
Yet, fiber provides other health benefits as well, such as supporting healthy cholesterol and blood sugar levels.
Dietary fiber can also help you maintain healthy weight management goals.
Fiber helps reduce calorie intake, enabling you to eat less while staying satisfied longer.
LOCLO supplies dietary fiber, enriched with fruits, vegetables and herbs for added nutritional support so you can feel your best!
Psyllium Hulls
Psyllium hulls support gut health and aid elimination. An excellent source of soluble fiber, psyllium hulls absorb several times their weight in liquid, increasing intestinal bulk to ease the movement of digested food through the gut. Soluble fiber from psyllium hulls also interferes with the absorption of emulsified fat from the small intestine and encourages the elimination of these bound fat molecules. Psyllium hulls fiber may also provide a feeling of fullness and help reduce food intake, enabling you to eat less while staying satisfied longer. Plus, psyllium hulls can play an important part in helping the body support normal-range cholesterol levels.
Apple Fiber
Apple fiber, also called pectin, is an excellent source of water-soluble dietary fiber. Apple fiber creates an increase in intestinal bulk, easing the movement of digested food through the intestines. Soluble fiber works mainly by helping to produce a softer stool. It also chemically prevents or reduces the absorption of certain substances into the bloodstream. Plus, apple fiber is a prebiotic that helps stimulate the growth and activity of beneficial bacteria in the gut.
Cinnamon
Cinnamon has been used in both Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine for more than 2,000 years. Recent clinical studies demonstrate cinnamon bark has the ability to support healthy blood glucose and insulin levels. It does this by reducing the amount of sugar your body absorbs, which means fewer carbs. Research also suggests that cinnamon has the potential to support a healthy lipid profile. Plus, cinnamon is a potent antioxidant.
Flax Seed
Flax seed supports intestinal health thanks to its high fiber content, which softens the stool and acts as a natural laxative to promote elimination. Flax seeds also support a balanced gut microbiome. Flax seeds naturally contain lignans, which are phytoestrogens that provide powerful health benefits, including boosting the immune system, maintaining hormone balance, and supporting breast and prostate health. Plus, flax seeds provide omega-3 essential fatty acids that support cardiovascular health and promote a healthy inflammatory response.
Guar Gum
Guar gum, made from the seeds of the guar plant, is mainly composed of soluble fiber with a high water-absorbing ability that forms a thick gel when hydrated. Guar gum's gel-forming properties help to increase satiety and slow gastric emptying which may reduce hunger and the desire for eating. Guar gum's gel-forming effect also interferes with the absorption of fat during digestion, binding with emulsified fat from the small intestine. These bound fat molecules are then eliminated. Soluble fibers such as guar gum have also been shown to promote healthy cholesterol and blood sugar levels already within the normal range. Unlike some other types of fiber, guar gum does not affect mineral absorption.
Turmeric
Turmeric is used in Indian and Chinese medicine and is a major component of curry powder. Rich in powerful antioxidants (curcuminoids), turmeric supports a healthy inflammatory response as it nourishes the immune, circulatory and glandular systems. Curcumin, the primary active ingredient, has been studied extensively for its beneficial effects on health. A potent antioxidant, curcumin supports a healthy inflammatory response and may help support joint, skin, brain and gut health as well as immune system function.
Red Beet
Red beet root, also referred to as just "red beet", has traditionally been used to promote glandular and liver health. Beets contain dietary fiber which enhances digestion, promotes the growth of healthy intestinal bacteria, and supports bowel regularity. Beets are also a rich source of dietary nitrates that support vascular health. Other vital nutrients found in beets include B-vitamins, vitamin C, iron, calcium, chromium, magnesium, potassium and zinc, just to name a few. Plus, beets contain powerful antioxidant nutrients called betalains which have been proven to combat oxidative stress and help prevent DNA damage. Beets have numerous health benefits, including enhancing cognitive function, supporting blood pressure and blood sugar regulation, improving exercise performance, supporting immune function, and providing protective effects on the liver and kidneys.
