Nourish your kidneys and strengthen your bones with this innovative Chinese blend.
KB-C TCM Concentrate contains specially selected Chinese herbs that strengthen the urinary and structural systems and nourish the kidneys.
This formula contains the same herbs found in KB-C, but in a highly concentrated blend.
KB-C TCM Concentrate features time-honored Chinese herbs, like eucommia and achyranthes, to nourish kidney yang and help strengthen joint components.
These herbs have traditionally been used to eliminate water, provide extra joint support, and help maintain the body’s proper acid/alkaline balance.
The Chinese name for KB-C TCM Concentrate is called jian gu, which can be translated to mean “strengthen the bones.”
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) philosophy names five distinct energies that permeate the body: Fire, Earth, Metal, Water and Wood. In order to feel your best, these energies must be in balance.
Traditional Chinese Medicine would consider KB-C TCM Concentrate a “water strengthening” formula.
Water is the reservoir of life. It’s no wonder how important this energy is as it relates to your adrenal system, sexual health and kidneys.
Nourish your water with KB-C TCM Concentrate (-).
According to Eastern philosophy, life permits us to work with what we have on earth here and now—body and mind—in order to reclaim and maintain the innate energy and spirit that reside within us. Energy and spirit must be awakened, nurtured and balanced in order for life to flourish.
Under TCM philosophy, KB-C TCM Concentrate is designed to nourish the kidneys and may help to strengthen the bones, tendons and joints.
Eucommia
Eucommia has been used to support the kidneys, liver and muscles, and to promote reproductive health and longevity. Eucommia also supports cardiovascular and glandular function and may help the body maintain hormone balance and normal-range blood sugar levels. Plus, eucommia has strong antioxidant properties. Chinese herbalists believe eucommia nourishes the kidney yang, as well as the ligaments and bones. No single Western herb has been found to substitute for these qualities.
Achyranthes
Achyranthes grows in China, Japan, India and Nepal. Chinese herbalists believe achyranthes promotes urinary flow and relieves the body of excess fluids, giving strength to the body. TCM proposes that achyranthes strengthens the liver, kidneys, bones and tendons. Achyranthes has been used historically for urinary flow, for certain gynecological needs, and for convalescence and comfort.
Drynaria
Drynaria is a fern and its rhizome has been used in TCM for more than a thousand years to build bone strength and nourish healthy bones and tendons. One of the active ingredients in drynaria, a flavonoid compound called naringin, is the major bone-protective ingredient also found in citrus fruit.
Hoelen
Hoelen sclerotium has been used for centuries in TCM to “drain dampness” and increase urinary flow. Hoelen is also used to correct urinary imbalances and help relieve congestion and feelings of heaviness in the body. Hoelen is valued as a tonic for the bladder and kidneys, as it helps to balance electrolytes. Hoelen also promotes immune system function.
Asian Ginseng
Asian ginseng root, also known as Panax ginseng, has been used in Asia for centuries to benefit both mental and physical health. Ginseng root has been traditionally consumed to boost energy, improve memory and concentration, promote endurance and exercise performance, enhance immune system activity, and elevate mood. As an adaptogen, ginseng helps optimize bodily functions, supports the body’s efforts to achieve balance and adapt to stress, and is commonly used to promote energy and vitality. Active constituents in the plant, called ginsenosides, support the glandular system and boost the immune system.
Astragalus
Astragalus is native to China, Mongolia and North Korea and has been used in TCM for more than 2,000 years. It is still considered one of the 50 fundamental herbs of TCM. Astragalus was often used as a tonic to increase overall vitality in older people or those who feel weak or fatigued. Modern Chinese practitioners tout the use of astragalus in supporting the immune system, promoting healthy blood circulation, and clearing retained water from the body. Astragalus also improves the flow of internal energy or "chi".
Dong Quai
Dong quai root is used in TCM to invigorate blood circulation. Pronounced “don kwy,” it is considered the queen of herbs by the Chinese and is China’s most popular herb for women. A relative of celery and carrots, Chinese physicians use dong quai to enrich the blood and promote circulation, as well as regulate menstruation, calm the nerves, and soothe the intestines.
Lycium
Grown widely across Asia, and particularly in the northwest regions of China, lycium fruit has been used as both a traditional medicinal herb and a food supplement for more than 2,000 years. It’s commonly used in soups and herbal teas, and has recently received attention for its powerful antioxidant properties. This renowned Chinese tonic herb is used in TCM to balance the 12 meridians (energy channels) and energize the five constitutional types.
